During 2019 I advised the International Urban Training Centre in Gangwon province, the Republic of Korea on their digital communications strategy, including creating and presenting a prototype for a website redesign during a trip to the centre in Korea. The prototype gave important input to the development of the new IUTC website.
I also filmed and produced a promotional video, embedded below.
Launched in 2006, UN-Habitat's partnership with the Government of the Gangwon Province of South Korea aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of the International Urban Training Centre and improve the capacities of local governments, senior experts and senior executives of public institutions in Asia and the Pacific.
Topics vary from water management, city prosperity, slum upgrading, housing, climate change mitigation and adaptation, urban planning, action planning for cities supported by the CPI-City Prosperity Index, and land-based finance.
In 2017, the programme expanded to include in-country training, seed-money projects and facilitating and addressing the needs of partner cities in implementing their development plans.
